What a neat project on the water cycle! I teach 4th grade and we do a whole unit on water in science. Your students' project gave me a great idea to use with my students. Thank you!

Hi, the kids used Tech4Learning's Pixie, Twist and Frames software for all the animations on the site. They created their backgrounds, then their characters (which were exported as transparent gif files) and props. They could then drag and drop their characters/props as needed into Twist, export each image that they needed for their digital "flipbook" and continue manipulating and exporting images until they had created enough images to achieve the desired result. The exported files were then imported into Frames, where title cards, transitions, music and audio tracks were added and frame durations were adjusted. The final project was then exported as a Quicktime movie. We archive them on Voicethread and have embedded several of them on our blog. I hope this answers your question, and thanks for taking the time to look at the great work these kids produced.
