Read – React – Write
Summer is coming to an end, so roll up your sleeves and let’s get to work!
We’re going to be using Edublogs this year for our computer lab blogging, so things look a little different. We’re still going to publish our multimedia work — animations, videos, slideshows and our writing, as well as some podcasting. I’m counting on all of you to create work that really shines.
To get us started, I’d like a shareout of what we did over the summer break. I’ll start by telling you that I taught classes (to grownups this time around), took classes and went to California for a week, which was a great vacation. I also adopted another kitten, bringing the family zoo up to two cats a a dog inside and I think we’ve got about nine cats/kittens outdoors that we take care of all year long. I painted and fixed things in my house and read a lot of books, including the last three Harry Potter books (I had fallen way behind!) which I really enjoyed. I’m a little sad that there are no more Potter books coming up, because I was getting very attached to the characters. I guess I’ll have to do some re-reading and just wait for the new movies to come out.
Now, I’d like you to share what you’ve been up to over the summer! Inquiring minds want to know!
